Compound: TB-500
Vial Content: 10 mg
Diluent Volume: 3.0 mL bacteriostatic water
Final Concentration: Approximately 3.33 mg/mL
TB-500 10 MG — RECONSTITUTION & RESEARCH MEASUREMENT GUIDE
For laboratory research and educational reference only.
Compound: TB-500
Vial Content: 10 mg
Diluent Volume: 3.0 mL bacteriostatic water
Final Concentration: Approximately 3.33 mg/mL
CONCENTRATION CALCULATION
10 mg ÷ 3.0 mL = approximately 3.33 mg/mL
Using a U-100 insulin syringe for laboratory measurement:
1 unit = 0.01 mL
1 unit contains approximately 33.3 mcg
15 units = 0.15 mL = approximately 500 mcg
18 units = 0.18 mL = approximately 600 mcg
22.5 units = 0.225 mL = approximately 750 mcg
30 units = 0.30 mL = approximately 1,000 mcg

Measurements are approximate because the prepared concentration is 3.33 mg/mL. Use appropriately calibrated laboratory equipment where greater precision is required.
RECONSTITUTION STEPS
-
Draw 3.0 mL of bacteriostatic water using a sterile syringe.
-
Slowly introduce the diluent down the inside wall of the vial. Avoid directing a forceful stream onto the lyophilized material.
-
Gently swirl or roll the vial until the material has dissolved. Do not shake.
-
Label the vial with:
-
Compound name
-
Final concentration: approximately 3.33 mg/mL
-
Reconstitution date
-
Applicable storage information
-
-
Store the reconstituted material refrigerated at 2–8 °C and protected from direct light. Do not freeze the reconstituted solution.
SUPPLY CALCULATIONS
Each 10 mg vial requires approximately 3.0 mL of bacteriostatic water.
4 vials require 12 mL
7 vials require 21 mL
10 vials require 30 mL
Suggested bacteriostatic-water quantities:
4 vials: 2 × 10 mL bottles
7 vials: 3 × 10 mL bottles
10 vials: 3 × 10 mL bottles
IMPORTANT RESEARCH-USE NOTICE
TB-500 is not approved by the FDA for human therapeutic use. This guide provides concentration, reconstitution and laboratory measurement information only. It is not medical advice and does not provide a treatment, administration or self-injection protocol. The material should be handled only by suitably qualified personnel in an appropriate research environment.
